Breathability

The specifier must determine the level of air tightness required for the particular building. Higher test pressures can be specified if a more airtight building is required.
 
Waterproof
 
The water tightness test consists of applying a uniform spray of water under increased air pressure until water seeps into the window. Wind resistance

Installation

Unitized curtain walls can be installed from inside the building using beams on the floor above, or from the outside using a crane. The installation team had to be securely connected to the structure by a wire harness.
 
Modules are transported to each floor, lifted into the correct position and installed on each floor. This involves hooking them on brackets that attach to the main base plate and leveling them with jacking bolts.
